Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Mech Dive game and related services (the “Service”) and set out the rights and responsibilities of you and the Operator.

2. Acceptance and Changes

  1. These Terms become effective when they are made available through the Service or a linked webpage and you begin using the Service.
  2. The Operator may update these Terms to the extent permitted by law. Material changes will be announced in advance through the Service or another reasonable channel, with the effective date and reason for the change.
  3. Where required by law, changes materially adverse to users will be subject to additional notice or consent.

3. Accounts

  1. Your agreement with the Operator begins when you review these Terms and the Privacy Policy and start the Service.
  2. The Service may use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to distinguish users. Reinstalling the app, resetting data, or changing devices may make an anonymous account inaccessible. Review any available transfer or recovery instructions.
  3. You must not use a nickname or other information that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringes another person's rights.
  4. You are responsible for reasonably securing your device and account access and should notify support of suspected unauthorized use.

4. The Service

  1. The Service may include game progression, virtual currency, inventory, decks, arena, friends, reporting, mail, and notices.
  2. The Operator may change content, features, balance, or delivery methods for operational or technical reasons. Material changes affecting users will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.
  3. The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, failures, force majeure, external platforms, or network conditions.

5. Virtual Items and Paid Services

  1. In-game currency and items are virtual content usable only within the Service. They are not legal tender, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be transferred outside the Service.
  2. The Service may offer paid products. Their price, content, and conditions will be displayed before purchase, and cancellations and refunds will be handled under applicable law and the policies of payment platforms such as Google Play or the App Store.
  3. Currency and items granted free of charge or earned through events or rewards are not refundable unless required by applicable law.

  1. For violations or to protect the Service, the Operator may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate the agreement, proportionate to the circumstances.
  2. Unless urgent security or harm-prevention needs apply, the Operator will reasonably communicate the reason and an appeal method.
  3. You may appeal an enforcement action through the support email address.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. The Service software, graphics, music, text, trademarks, and other content are owned by or lawfully licensed to the Operator or their respective rightsholders.
  2. You receive only a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable license necessary to use the Service under these Terms.

9. Termination and Data

  1. The Operator may discontinue the Service for substantial business or operational reasons after notice required by applicable law and platform policies.
  2. You may request account and personal data deletion through support. Processing methods and retention exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for loss caused without its fault by force majeure, communications failures, user actions, or third-party service failures.
  2. Service records or results may be corrected for technical errors or operational necessity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
  3. The Operator is not a party to disputes between users but will seek reasonable protective measures, including report handling.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. The parties will first try to resolve disputes amicably. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
  3. Mandatory consumer rights applicable in your country of residence are not limited by this section.
